Project SEE / White Farm
Project SEE (Science and Environmental Education) is a Concord School District science enrichment program founded in 1970. Project SEE delivers classroom and field trip programming to complement the district's elementary science curriculum.
Project SEE's goals are to 1) provide Concord students with concrete, hands-on science experiences, 2) develop scientific and environmental awareness, and 3) inspire good citizens with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
The Project SEE team leads grade-level field trips for kindergarten to grade 6, both at the Project SEE Learning Center at White Farm and at locations around Concord. These field trips focus on outdoor and applied science experiences, building upon science content taught by teachers and tying to the Next Generation Science Standards. Our science educators also deliver regular lessons in all of our grade 1-5 classrooms, focusing on the hands-on practice of science skills.
You are welcome to visit White Farm to explore the outdoors for yourself. Come hike, ski, bird-watch, or pull weeds in the garden!
White Farm is located on Clinton Street in Concord.
Join Us for the White Farm BioBlitz!
On June 1 from 8am to noon, Project SEE will hold a free, family-friendly event called the White Farm BioBlitz. A bioblitz is a big nature scavenger hunt. How many plants and animals can we find in one short morning? We will offer guided nature walks, birding, and wetland exploration-- and indoor fun as well!
This is a free, family-friendly event. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Click here to register or use the QR code (registration gives us an idea of interest; it does not commit you to coming). Come for an hour, come for the morning-- we look forward to seeing you, and doing a little citizen science along the way! You can view the schedule for the day below.

Spring with Project SEE
Concord 4th grades visited the White Farm to learn about how we power our every day lives on the Energizing Everything field trip. Students experimented with kits borrowed from NHEEP to learn about how renewable energy sources work.
Kindergartners learned how to test ideas like a scientist with our in-school Color Chemistry experience.
